About the brandy
A character worth remembering
Sila plum brandy represents the union of carefully selected fruit, controlled fermentation, and patient aging. It is created by blending mono-distillates of Stenlej, Čačanska rodna, Čačanska lepotica, Julska lepotica, Ruth Gešteter, and Požegača, achieving a harmonious balance of fruitiness, body, and elegance.
Production is guided so that each variety reveals its aromatic potential. After distillation, the brandy ages for 3 to 5 years in barrique casks of sessile oak, developing an amber hue, softness, and a layered finish.
At 40% alcohol, this brandy retains the character of a serious šljivovica while remaining drinkable, rounded, and pleasant to taste. It pairs equally well with traditional dishes, special moments, and quiet enjoyment after a meal.

A juicy, widely grown variety valued for stable quality, sweetness, and suitability for processing.
Čačanska rodna
A productive Serbian variety with pronounced aromatics, especially well suited to brandy production.
Čačanska lepotica
A decorative, aromatic plum that contributes freshness, fruitiness, and a pleasant fragrance to the distillate.
Julska lepotica
An early variety that adds lightness, fruity freshness, and a fine balance to the blend.
Ruth Gešteter
An early variety that contributes freshness, vibrancy, and fine fruit tones to the base of the distillate.
Požegača
A traditional variety recognized for its pronounced aroma and the classic character of domestic šljivovica.
Production
Preparation and aging
Fruit is selected at full ripeness, when it offers the best balance of sugar, acidity, and aroma.
Fermentation is carried out under controlled conditions, using selected yeasts and enzymes.
Each variety yields a separate mono-distillate, which is then carefully blended to form the final character of the brandy.
Aging in barrique casks of sessile oak rounds the taste and adds notes of wood, subtle vanilla, and dried fruit.
